Celebrating the Investiture of Elliott Chevin as Assistant Provincial Grand Master

This week marked a historic moment for the Essex Cornerstone Club as we celebrated the investiture of Elliott Chevin as Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the Province of Essex. Elliot’s journey has been nothing short of inspirational, and his investiture was a fitting tribute to his contribution to Freemasonry.

Elliott was a founding member and the first Chairman of the Essex Cornerstone Club. His vision and dedication helped lay the foundations of our club, making it the thriving organisation it is today. In addition to his contributions to the Cornerstone Club, Elliott served as the Primus Master of the Essex Cornerstone Lodge and presiding at the Lodge consecration, setting a standard of leadership and camaraderie that continues to guide us.

Over the years, Elliott’s commitment has extended far beyond the Craft. As Deputy Grand Superintendent for the Royal Arch of the Province of Essex, he exemplified the principles of Freemasonry with grace and integrity. His hard work was recently recognised with a lifetime membership to the Essex Cornerstone Club—a well-deserved honour that acknowledges his decade-long dedication to our club.

The investiture ceremony was held during the Essex Masters meeting, where Provincial Grand Master Paul Tarrant presided over the Provincial Grand Lodge. Elliott’s patent was read out, setting the stage for a memorable moment as his son, Taylor—also a proud Cornerstone member— carried his new chain. It was an emotional and proud occasion, highlighting the bond between father and son and the legacy Elliott has built within our club.

Elliott’s investiture not only celebrates his achievements but also serves as an inspiration for current and future members. His dedication, leadership, and humility have left an indelible mark on our club, and we look forward to the bright future he will continue to shape for Freemasonry in Essex.

Congratulations Elliott from all the members of the Essex Cornerstone Club, Lodge, Chapter and Foundation.
