This month, Essex Cornerstone members took on the ultimate test of teamwork, wit, and nerves at Maldon Escape Rooms, tackling the infamous Rob the Bank room. Described as a thrilling heist, the adventure begins in the back of a Ford Transit van, driven by none other than Angie, who has expertly parked it into Harman’s Bank. As the van doors open, the race against the clock begins: 60 minutes to break into the vault, grab the gold, and make a quick getaway!
Rob the Bank is a massive, immersive escape room experience featuring multiple zones and even a live actor to add some realism to the game. With comfortable shoes, dark clothing, and plenty of enthusiasm, our Cornerstone team was ready for the challenge. Despite tricky puzzles and the ever-present ticking clock, our team displayed impressive coordination and problem-solving, making it out with a whopping 29 minutes to spare!
After the adrenaline rush, everyone headed over to the White Horse for a well-deserved beer, recounting close calls and clever solutions. Another successful social and a record-breaking escape! Well done to everyone who joined; the bar has officially been set high for our next adventure.
