The Essex Mark inaugural Grand Prix Go Karting event, held in support of the Essex Festival 2030, was an exhilarating day of competition, camaraderie, and charity.
The Essex Cornerstone Club entered the event with high hopes, and we’re proud to announce that our three-man team achieved a dominant victory, finishing with over a three-lap lead! In a race that spanned 153 laps, our team maintained an impressive average speed of 47.46 mph, showcasing both skill and teamwork.
The event, organised by Essex Mark, brought together Freemasons from across the region for a day of friendly competition. Beyond the thrill of the race, the true success of the day was the charitable impact. Thanks to the generosity of participants and supporters, over £3,000 was raised for the Essex Festival 2030, which continues to support local causes and communities.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Essex Mark for putting together such a fantastic event and congratulate them on the success of their fundraising efforts. The spirit of Freemasonry was evident throughout the day, with a shared commitment to having fun while making a difference. Essex Cornerstone is proud to have participated and looks forward to future events where we can continue to combine our love for competition with a passion for charity.
Here’s to many more exciting victories and continued support for the Essex Festival 2030!
