2024 Elections

As the Essex Cornerstone Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) approaches, it’s time for members to consider stepping into one of several key leadership roles. These roles are crucial in ensuring the Club’s continued success and vitality, supporting its members, and upholding the values of Freemasonry. This is your opportunity to make an impact and contribute to the growth of our club!
Deputy Chairman
Adam Daisley

As a regular attendee to the club events and as a long time member of the club I feel that it is a position that I would be best suited.
Using my experience in a premier London special interest Lodge committee with directing it through its handover to new management, and my experience in my day job as a Police Officer leading investigations, meetings with stakeholders, developing the new recruits, working with and challenging higher ranks is something that comes naturally to me.
Treasurer – Horus Lodge 3155 (Met)
Treasurer Elect – Mottingham 6763 (West Kent)
Euclid Lodge of Installed Masters (Met)
Chapter of St Mary 1312 (Essex)
Essex Cornerstone Chapter 9968 (Essex)
Adam Harvey

I was initiated into Leigh-on-Sea Lodge No 4708 on the 28th of September 2016. On the day of my initiation, I was introduced to
W, Bro Jack Saunders who piqued my interest in the newly formed Essex Cornerstone Club. I then joined that same day and have
been an active member of the Club ever since.
In late 2017, the then Chairman, Bro Jack Gilliland, was looking for applicants to fill the role of Events Manager for the Club. After
a successful interview with the then-serving Committee members, I officially took the role of Events Manager in the summer of
2018. Since undertaking the role of Events Manager for the Club,
Over the six years I have served the club, I have learnt and developed new ways to structure and organise events. I have also
worked with the other committee members to deliver enjoyable events to the Club members throughout the years.
I am now looking to expand my knowledge and experience of the roles within the Club and would like to undertake the role of
Deputy Chairman to gain a greater understanding of how the Club runs.
By shadowing and learning from the Chairman I aim to expand my knowledge and understanding of the way the Club is organised
and structured. In the future, I have the hope and view to eventually apply for the role of Chairman, once I have gained the
knowledge and experience to carry out the role effect.

Vision
Delivering ultimate “edge”.
Drawing on my commercial and masonic background looking to build upon, enhance and produce alongside the Chairman and the club, the next levels of possibility for the Club. Broaden engagement, utilise expertise and deliver the ultimate edge in how the club does things and what it wants to do next.
Cornerstone has been a vanguard of modernity showcasing the best elements of Freemasonry.
Background
I’ve been a Private Pilot Licence holder since 21, and my professional background was in strategy at a commodities firm.
Since 2013, a Hedge Fund Manager which I set up with my business partner, trading US assets including Options, futures etc for private client funds.
It is my knowledge of doing things differently and finding ways to make things work, having a “P&L” mindset, which makes my thinking and delivery unique.
Initiated into Freemasonry 2009 into United Lodge 697 in Colchester at 21.
Freemasonry was quite different back then even compared to now, and since that time it has opened up, focused on membership and become better at engaging, retaining existing and attracting new members.
Co-Founder Inebriatis
I saw the need for these 3 (aforementioned) facets early in my masonic career and founded the Facebook group “Inebriatis” in 2011, which promotes “Raiding” (visiting with gusto) where brethren form raiding parties to support lodges that need it, or other inebriates at ceremonies. It is a group well received by Province and now has over 350 members many of whom are actively engaged. I like to think it added an extra dimension to people’s freemasonry through simple and “sticky” marketing.
Co-Founder Macnab Lodge & PR Guru
Tasked with driving forward creation of the lodge, Essex’s shooting and fishing lodge has quickly become a “powerhouse” lodge with our annual theme night 2024 attracting 130 masonic and non-masonic chaps.
As the “PR guru” for Macnab it has been my responsibility to make Macnab a “super lodge” via communications including our brand, the regular high attendance and the immense fun and engagement Macnab has produced in such a short amount of time. I actively work with the other Macnab members in various areas to deliver great ritual and exciting non-ritual activities such as shoot/fishing days and our Festive Boards.
Co-Founder Masonic Cigar Club
Quickly attracted over 750 members since 2022.
