Cornerstone Club AGM at the County Hotel, Chelmsford

The November AGM of the Essex Cornerstone Club marked an important moment in the Club’s year, bringing members together to reflect on progress, confirm leadership, and look ahead with confidence. The meeting was held at the County Hotel, providing a familiar and welcoming setting for this key occasion.

During the AGM, members unanimously re-elected Paul Williams for a second term as Chairman of the Club. His reappointment reflected the strong support of the membership and recognition of a successful year, which saw a varied programme of socials, continued charitable focus, and growing engagement among Freemasons under 40 across Essex.

The evening also included a moment to say thank you and farewell to Sam Connor, who stepped down from the committee. Sam’s contribution and commitment to the Club were warmly acknowledged, with members expressing their appreciation for the time and effort he dedicated to supporting Cornerstone’s activities and development.

At the same time, the Club was pleased to welcome Luke Daisley onto the committee as Communications Officer. His appointment represents a positive step forward in strengthening how Cornerstone shares its message and keeps members connected.

Following the formal meeting, the evening continued in true Cornerstone style with a curry night, allowing members to relax, catch up, and enjoy good company. The combination of reflection, renewal, and fellowship made the November AGM a fitting close to another successful year for the Essex Cornerstone Club.
