The Essex Cornerstone Foundation has once again made a tangible difference in the community with the delivery of another 250 essential homeless packs to Friends of Essex & London Homeless.
These packs, thoughtfully assembled to provide warmth, hygiene, and comfort, are designed to support people sleeping rough across Essex and London. Items such as gloves, toiletries, and other essentials may seem small, but for those facing homelessness they can make a meaningful and immediate difference, particularly during colder months.
As part of the delivery, Paul Williams, Chairman of the Foundation, visited the charity’s stall in Grays to see firsthand the incredible work being carried out by volunteers on the ground. The visit also included seeing the new outreach van, recently purchased by Essex Freemasons as part of the wider Essex 250 celebrations. The van is already proving invaluable, enabling Friends of Essex & London Homeless to reach more people, more often, and with greater impact.
This latest donation builds on the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting those most in need, particularly individuals under 40 experiencing hardship, homelessness, or crisis. It is a powerful example of how Freemasonry in Essex continues to turn generosity into practical action.
The Essex Cornerstone Foundation would like to thank everyone who supports its work, through donations, volunteering, and advocacy. Together, we are showing that community, kindness, and compassion sit at the very heart of Freemasonry in Essex, and that when we work together, we truly can make a difference.
