The June Installation meeting proved to be one of the most memorable and distinctive events of the year, blending meaningful ritual, learning, and light-hearted celebration with a vibrant Hawaiian theme that carried through the entire evening.
Proceedings began with the Chapter meeting, where the Installation took place in a dignified and well-delivered ceremony. The atmosphere reflected the importance of the occasion, with Companions coming together to support the incoming Principals and mark another significant step in the Chapter’s continuing journey. The sense of unity and shared purpose was evident throughout, setting a strong tone for the rest of the evening.
The Lodge meeting followed and offered something a little different. Members were treated to a fascinating and thought-provoking talk on the Rose Croix, exploring its symbolism, history, and wider context within Freemasonry. The presentation sparked interest and discussion, giving many Brethren fresh perspectives and plenty to reflect on long after the meeting closed.
Once formal proceedings were complete, the evening shifted seamlessly into a Hawaiian-themed festive board, and the transformation was impressive. Tropical décor, bright colours, and relaxed island vibes filled the room, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight for many was the inflatable surfboard, which quickly became the centre of laughter, photographs, and good-natured banter.

The festive board perfectly balanced celebration with fellowship. New and familiar faces mixed easily, conversations flowed, and the shared theme helped create a relaxed environment that everyone embraced.

The June Installation was a wonderful example of how tradition and creativity can come together. From meaningful ceremonies and engaging discussion to an unforgettable festive board, it was an evening that will be fondly remembered by all who attended. 🌺🏄♂️
